Warriors Head Coach, Don Nelson has historically cringed at the idea of playing young players, especially rookies. There were always the exceptions--Chris Webber being one (but how did that work out again...?). In recent years with the Warriors, Nelly has had some success with what is perennially the league's youngest team, and this year figures to be no different. By all accounts, first round draft pick (7th overall) Stephen Curry flourished during at the Summer League, and "sophomore" Anthony Randolph tied a Summer League record with 42 points. Randolph has also been added to the Team USA minicamp roster.
Here's to hoping that the rising summer stars won't dim during the fall and winter.
